RHINELANDER, Wisc (WSAU) Rhinelander's school superintendent is retiring. Dr. Roger Erdahl has led the school district for 11 years. He'll leave when the current school year ends in June.
Erdahl says the time is right to step aside. The district has completed a long-range building project. He says it's best for the new superintendent to be in place when the schools begin their next round of long-term planning.
The school board met last night to discuss finding a replacement.
Erdahl has been an educator for 40 years, including some time in the Antigo School District before coming to Rhinelander.
