MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) -  The two teenagers involved in a Wood County car crash are still hospitalized. 16-year-old Brett Jacobs and 16-year-old Preston Galganski of Arpin are at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Jacobs is in “fair” condition. Galganski is in “good” condition.

The driver lost control of the car while northbound on Arpin-Richfield Drive in the Township of Richfield. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, breaking several small trees and splitting the car into two separate pieces. Emergency workers had to extricate the passenger. Investigators haven’t commented on who was driving.

The Wood County Sheriff's investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
