WPS crews transferred to New Jersey

by

SOMERSET, NJ (WSAU) -  The Wisconsin Public Service crews working on the east coast with superstorm Sandy's damage have been moved. 25 crew members and ten vehicles were deployed to Connecticut November 1st. On Thursday, they started packing for Somerset, New Jersey. The WPS crews have joined over 4,000 other out-of-area utility workers to help New Jersey’s Public Service Electric and Gas customers get back in service. That utility services over three-quarters of the state’s clients.

Wisconsin Public Service has some updates and photos on their web site, linked here:http://www.wisconsinpublicservice.com/company/hurricane_sandy.aspx?s_icid=BAN_WEB-WPS_HPRotating-HurricaneSandy
