MARSHFIELD, Wis (WSAU) A Marshfield man accused of attacking his pregnant ex-girlfriend was bound over for trial yesterday. 23-year-old Tyler Ress is charged with false imprisonment, strangulation, reckless endangerment, and attempted abortion. Prosecutors claim he wanted to harm the unborn baby.

He's accused of attacking the 28-year-old woman in his home on East 21st Street.

The woman's stomach was allegedly punched several times. She was also doused with gasoline during a two-to-three hour ordeal.

Ress will enter a plea during his next court appearance in December.
