WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -  A house fire in Wausau is planned for this morning (Monday) as a training exercise. Battalion Chief Paul Czarapata says the residence at 1504 Arlington Lane was donated by the owner so Wausau and neighboring departments can conduct structural live fire training

The training will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and will require the closing of Arlington Lane between 15th and 16th Avenue.

Czarapata says firefighters will practice several aspects of managing a fire, including command and control, pumping and water supply, ventilation and extinguishment.
