A 16-year-old gang member is going to adult prison for his part in a February stabbing.
Craig McGeshick admits his role in a Mole Lake incident where he and five others stabbed and beat a Wausau man for allegedly planning to testify in Marathon County against a Latin Kings gang member. McGeshick has failed to cooperate with investigators in any other way.
Facing 30 years, Judge Leon Stenz said no to serving in a juvenile facility and ordered McGeshick to spend four years in prison and then six years on extended supervision. He will have three more years of probation after that. gang member Melvin Zarda was sentenced for the same incident Monday. Preston Krustensterna will be sentenced December 7th.
Three more suspects have January trials.
