GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) Green Bay Packers’ receiver Greg Jennings might have to sit out Sunday’s game at Indianapolis, after he aggravated a groin injury in last Sunday’s home win over New Orleans.
Coach Mike McCarthy said yesterday that Jennings could not run at a full stride – and the injury appears to be back to where it was a couple weeks ago. The coach said yesterday that Jennings will go through the normal rehab process, and he’ll see how he’s doing when the team starts practicing tomorrow for the Colts’ game.
Unlike some previous games, Jennings’ teammates made up for his loss during the Saints’ contest. James Jones, Jordy Nelson, and Randall Cobb combined for 215 receiving yards and three touchdowns, as Jennings missed part of the second quarter and the entire second half. He did, however, manage to score a T-D before leaving.
