STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) -  Kids get to have fun and learn about fire safety Saturday in Park Ridge, the community adjacent to Stevens Point.   Park Ridge firefighters, Portage County Sheriff's Deputies and Emergency Government personell will be at the Walgreen’s parking lot from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with the smoke house, showing families how to best get out of a burning house. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and digital fingerprinting and I-D cards for kids, too. This is the fifth annual Fire Safety Day for Portage County. They will be giving fire extinguisher training and offering tours of the fire truck and hose wagon.
