WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) - Charges could be filed Monday against the man who allegedly threatened to harm a Wausau West student Friday around 11:30 a.m. 18-year-old Marcos Garza is accused of sending the threats to a female student by text message. Garza was arrested in the 600 block of Wausau’s Jefferson Street without incident a few hours later, and taken to the Marathon County Jail. He was armed with a 40 caliber handgun. The threat caused Wausau Police and West High School to activate a school lockdown and police perimeter until Garza was captured.
