UNDATED (WSAU) The Portage County sheriffs department is reporting three recent burglaries at homes where someone had recently died. The break-ins were took place while funerals were scheduled. Investigators think the thieves got their information from the obituaries.

The break-ins happened in and around Junction City. And there's a more recent case in Antigo that might be related.

Police say jewelry, collectables, tools, and cash were taken. No arrests have been made.
