(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Golden Gophers need a win this afternoon to qualify for a post-season bowl game, but Wisconsin stands in the way. The border rivalry has been dominated by the Badgers for the last 20 years. Wisconsin has won 18 of those, the last 11 in a row.
Both quarterbacks were injured last week, but Wisconsin’s Joel Stave and Minnesota’s Mitch Leidner are expected to be ready to go.
Gopher Coach Jerry Kill, forced to step down due to epilepsy, will be in T-C-F Bank Stadium for the first time since he retired.
Badger Game day begins at 12:30 on WSAU.
