GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) The Catholic Diocese in Green Bay is reminding parishioners their souls are “in jeopardy” depending on their vote in the upcoming election.
People attending Catholic services will find a message in their newsletters from Bishop David Ricken. In the message he asks parishioners to keep Catholic principles in mind when they cast their ballot November 6th, specifically referring to five issues the church finds “intrinsically evil,” including abortion, embryonic stem cell research and gay marriage.
The Bishop is expected to speak to the media on the issue today. (Thanks, WTAQ)
