RIB MOUNTAIN, Wis. (WSAU) - The fall colors are hitting central Wisconsin, and Granite Peak wants you to get a good look with their annual Comet Sky Ride.
The ride takes visitors up the side of Rib Mountain on a leisurely trip up the ski lifts so that you can get a good look at the changing colors of central Wisconsin. Kelsey Beasland from Granite Peak says it's fun for the whole family. "Any age is able to do the ride, and you can get off the top and walk around and visit the state park."
Beasland says this year's droughts have not seriously affected the view. "Peak is coming a little earlier this year, but we don't see it affecting riders at all."
The ride runs from 11 to 4 Saturday and Sunday for the next three weekends. The ride is first-come first-served, so you'll want to get there early. Tickets are just 8 dollars a piece.
