UNDATED (WRN)   The spring thaw is having an impact on Wisconsin’s rivers, with flood warnings being issues for least three in the Badger State.

In western Wisconsin, the Trempealeau River at Dodge was about 2.5 inches above its flood stage as of early this morning. It’s expected to keep rising today and then drop below the flood stage tomorrow morning with only minor flooding expected.

In Rock County, the Rock River at Newville reached its flood stage overnight. A forecast was not immediately issued.

In Kenosha County, the Fox River at New Munster is a just a few inches below its flood stage, but it’s expected to rise slightly this morning with minor flooding projected.

Meanwhile, Duck Creek near Green Bay is under a flood advisory. It was just under a foot above its flood stage last night, with widespread floods on lowlands.

There’s no rain in the statewide forecast until at least Saturday. However, highs near 50 on Thursday could create more complications from melting snow.
