WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A man who caused a lockdown at Wausau-West High School last year after sending threatening messages to an ex-girlfriend has reached a plea bargain. 19-year-old Marcos Garza pled no contest to one felony and two misdemeanors in connect to the case yesterday in Marathon County court.
The judge put him on probation for 3-years, ordered him not to have contact with anyone at Wausau-West, and write a letter of apology. If he gets into trouble while on probation, he'll be sent to jail.
When police arrested Garza after the lockdown they found a gun in his backpack. He's threatened to harm his ex-girlfriend and to share some nude pictures he had of her.
