RHINELANDER, Wis (WSAU) Rhinelander's city council is expected to approve a revised show removal ordinance. There have been complaints this year about people who move snow onto a neighbor's property, or push snow into the street.
Police and the public works department say the number of snow removal complaints have doubled this winter.
The new ordinance also says snow can't be piled up so it blocks the view of drivers.
Violators will be subject to a $50 fine. The city will charge homeowners $190 if it has to remove the snow. City council approval of the changes is expected on Monday.
