WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTAQ) - Air traffic controller furloughs are said to have had little to no impact on travelers at Dane County Regional Airport.
Delays were reported to be 15 minutes or less so far this week.
Much longer wait times were reported from larger airports like JFK in New York and Los Angeles International on Monday.
Wisconsin delays on Monday were described as normal or slight.
The FAA cut back the hours for air traffic controllers in response to mandatory federal government spending cuts which went into effect last month.
Controllers have to take one furlough day every two weeks.
