PINE COUNTY, MN (WTAQ) - Two Wisconsin DNR wardens have found the body of a Minnesota snowmobiler who went missing two months ago along the St. Croix River.

Forty-three year old James Harlan Fentress was riding a snowmobile which broke through the ice February 16th.

Fentess's body was found Saturday afternoon and later identified by the Minnesota's Ramsey County medical examiner’s office.

Authorities found his snowmobile the night he went missing, but a search of the water wasn’t possible because of dangerous conditions.

A search for his body which had been scheduled for this week has been canceled by the discovery.
