WAUTOMA, Wis. (WSAU) - A former Waushara County official has been arrested after an undercover narcotics investigation. 55-year-old Gerald Miller is the former County EMS Coordinator. Now, he’s charged with buying over twenty thousand dollars worth of the painkiller OxyContin. The criminal complaint says Miller was arrested after paying the money to undercover officers for 600 of the pills.
Miller told investigators he wanted the pills for his own use. He is currently free on a two thousand dollar signature bond. Miller will be back in court in September. If convicted, he could spend over nine years in prison.
