STRATFORD, Wis. (WSAU) - A couple of weeks ago, we reported the case of the duct taped dog. It was the case of cruelty that had people wondering who would do such a thing.

Stratford police figured out who. It was the dog’s owner. The owner told officer Eric Colby Friday he did it, saying he had some personal issues with the dog.

The blue wrapped pooch was all over Facebook in late July. Now, the dog is getting a new home. A friend of the family has offered to take Paco. The dog’s former owner is now being referred to the District Attorney’s office for charges of animal abuse and obstructing an officer.
