WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) – The state's longest running blues festival returns this weekend in Wausau.
It's the 22nd annual Big Bull Falls Blues Fest at Fern Island Park. Wausau Events director Kari Rasmussen says they're ready for a great weekend. "The weather's looking great. Looks like 81 degrees for both days, no rain. I'm excited to see everyone down there."
The action takes place over at Fern Island Park in Wausau, and Rasmussen says it's a great place for an event. "Crossing that footbridge to get to the Music Fest is exciting for people."
This year's lineup is packed with new acts that have never been to Wausau before, including some big names. "Robert Randolph is huge. He was just on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, we're very lucky to have him." Rasmussen says they've also got the Lamont Cranston Band, and Indigenous.
Tickets are available at the gate, $15 for Friday night, $35 for both days. No carry-ins are allowed.
