WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) - The Stratford woman accused of making up stories about her children having seizures so she could get prescription drugs has reached a plea deal in court. 32-year-old Susan Moore entered a no contest plea to neglecting a child and obstructing an officer, as prosecutors amended the charges from child abuse and illegally obtaining controlled substances. She had received prescriptions for her four and two year old children for Diazepam, which she used herself.
Moore’s jury trial would have started Thursday without the plea agreement. She was also ordered to undergo counseling and to properly take her medications.
