GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAU-Wheeler News) - A 60-year-old Green Bay pilot is lucky to be alive, after crashing a plane in Brown County over the weekend.

Authorities say the crash happened just after noon yesterday. The pilot told the Brown County Sheriff’s Office that he lost power on takeoff and the plane’s landing gear collapsed on landing.

The plane is considered a total loss, valued at around 25-thousand dollars. Federal Aviation officials are investigating the crash.
