FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) - A Fond du Lac County judge has raised the bond for a woman accused in the murder of her husband.
During her first court appearance Wednesday, Eve Nance had her bond increased from $100,000 to $300,000. The judge says it's due to the seriousness of the charge.
Nance is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. Timothy Nance was last seen November 1, but his wife didn't report him missing until four days later.
According to the criminal complaint, a troubled marriage and an extramarital affair may have played a role in the case. Authorities say Eve Nance shot Timothy twice in the head, then wrapped his body in plastic and put it in the trunk of her car.
Officials say Nance dumped the body in some woods in Milwaukee. She is due back in court December 12.
Eve Nance's sister, Tina Ewell, was also taken into custody. She has since been released.
