ANTIGO, Wis (WSAU) A mother who allowed kids from her neighborhood to smoke pot at her home has reached a plea bargain. 44-year-old Tami Yarie pled no contest yesterday to charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The judge gave her a one-year deferred sentence. She'll serve no jail time if she stays out of trouble.
Police reports say they got a complaint from neighbors about marijuana parties at Yarie's house. An investigation showed that sometimes Yarie got high with her teenage daughter's friends.
Charges of possession of THC and drug paraphernalia were dropped as part of the plea bargain.
