PLOVER, Wis. (WSAU) -- Three men are facing additional charges after investigators linked a Plover armed robbery and beating, a Wausau high speed chase, and the recovery of several stolen items.
18-year-old Lyndell Dale of Wausau, 30-year-old Archie Biddell of Antigo, and 30-year-old Maurice Holt of Wausau, and 21-year-old Michael Hays of Merrill have several connected crimes investigated by police in Marathon and Portage Counties.
Hays, Biddell, and Holt are already incarcerated after the September 22nd chase led officers from Rothschild to the Ringle area, where Hays crashed the car. Biddell, Holt, and Dale are accused of holding two Plover men at gunpoint in their Shannon Court apartment and stealing guitars, cellphones, an I-Pod, gaming equipment, and other personal belongings before beating the victims.
Dale was in Portage County court Wednesday, where bond was set at $50,000 cash. Dale was in the Marathon County jail before being taken to Portage County. He will be back before the judge Monday for an initial appearance.
The complaint says the robbery and beating started after an argument about stolen marijuana and drug money.
Holt and Biddell are charged with robbery. So far, their next court date has not been scheduled. Holt, Biddell and Dale are also charged with substantial battery, intimidating a victim, false imprisonment, battery and theft.
