WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) The Wausau School Board will meet in closed-session for a second time to review a report on the controversy over holiday music and concerts. The meeting will be held Monday night at 5pm. The report hasn't been made public yet.
School board president Michelle Schafer says the report mentions several public employees by name. Under state open records law, those employees have a chance to review and comment on the report before it becomes public.
The school district has suggested that the report might be posted on its web site once those requirements are met.
In October the school board reversed a staff policy-change that would have cancelled elementary school holiday concerts and limited religious-themed music. The report is an investigation into the origins of that policy.
