The legendary adult film star was admitted to the intensive-care unit (ICU) at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday (29Jan13), complaining of severe chest pains.

His medical team discovered an aneurysm near his heart, which required two operations, and now he is resting comfortably following the procedure.

The 59 year old was booked to appear at a Super Bowl Sunday party this weekend (03Feb13) in Dedham, Massachusetts, but it appears he'll be unable to attend as he is still listed in critical condition by surgeons.

A source tells TMZ.com, ""Ron is in ICU and will... remain at the hospital for at least two weeks until doctors can see how he reacts to the surgeries.""
