STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU)The U-W Stevens Point men’s basketball team fell 10 places to Number-15 in the new Division-Three poll from D-Three-Hoops-Dot-Com. The Pointers lost to U-W Platteville and La Crosse last week, after winning eight straight. Point is now 18-and-4 overall.
Whitewater dropped one spot to 16th in the new poll, despite winning three straight and five of its last six. The Warhawks are 17-and-4.
Stout and Saint Norbert also received votes. Saint Thomas of Saint Paul returned to the Number-One spot, replacing Rochester which fell to fourth. In the D-Three women’s poll, U-W Stevens Point is still 16th with a record of 18-and-4. Superior returned to the Top-25 after dropping out a week ago. The Yellow Jackets are 24th.
Carthage is also back in the rankings at Number-25. Whitewater, Wisconsin Lutheran, and Oshkosh received votes. De Paul is still the women’s Number-One.
