KRONENWETTER, WI (WSAU) - A central Wisconsin financial institution is adding another branch office. Valley Communities Credit Union announced Tuesday they will open a Kronenwetter branch early this summer.
President and CEO Kelly Hladovcak says they completed purchase of a site this week. "We just purchased a building in Kronenwetter right on the corner of X and XX, and we plan to put a branch office there hopefully by summer. We'd like to be in by about June."
Hladovcak says they’ve grown by mergers and aquisitions in the past, but this is their first new branch office in some time. "When we looked at the Kronenwetter area, they are really a thriving community with great growth, and we already have a good chunk of our members in Kronenwetter." About 650 of their clients are from Kronenwetter, so Hladovcak says this was a natural choice to both grow and to serve existing customers members.
Kronenwetter will be the sixth location for Valley Communities Credit Union. The new branch will include a lobby, drive-up and an ATM. They are expecting to add four employees when the new branch opens.
