MARATHON CITY, WI (WSAU) -  Highway 29 travelers will have to slow down near Marathon City starting Thursday.

The westbound lanes will be restricted to a single lane of traffic between County Highway “S” and exit 156 at Marathon City so that concrete repairs can be made. Weather permitting, the repairs will be completed in a day or two. Department of Transportation officials say we should drive slow and stay alert, watching for construction vehicles and highway workers very close to the driving lane starting early tomorrow morning.
