WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -  There’s another case in the courts involving a man placing a camera in the women’s bathroom. This time, it’s in Wausau.

44-year-old John Bahr pled not guilty to the charge Monday before Judge Michael Moran. Prosecutors say Bahr was secretly videotaping women in the bathroom at Motion Industries in Wausau. He is charged with misdemeanor invasion of privacy with the use of a surveillance device.

Bahr remains jailed, unable to post a $5,000 cash bond. If he does post bond, Bahr won’t be able to have contact with the victim except through his attorney... including at their place of employment. His pretrial hearing is scheduled for January 28th at 10:00 a.m.

This is similar to a case from Marshfield that is still making it’s way through the Wood County courts. 29-year-old Joseph Wright is accused of placing his cellphone in record mode and setting it on the bathroom floor at the Comfort Inn and Suites Hotel in October. That case is scheduled to go to trial in February.
