RHINELANDER, Wisc (WSAU) The investigation is complete into a fatal fire last month in Rhinelander. It was caused by a lit cigarette.

83-year-old Robert Fischer became trapped in the home and died. His wife was able to escape. She was treated for smoke inhalation and released.

The home at 200 Maple Street suffered heavy damage. The fire itself was ruled an accident.
