WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -  Wausau’s new Community Warming Center for the homeless now has a director. Diane Borchardt has been hired by Catholic Charities to operate the nighttime relief center and train it’s volunteers.

City Council just approved the permits and operation of the Warming Center Tuesday. The 50-member coalition bringing the project to reality plans to be operating by February 1st.
