MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - A man who apparently drowned in downtown Milwaukee Thursday was identified as 51-year-old Robert Silverman of Milwaukee.
Construction workers saw his body in the Milwaukee River, and fire department crews pulled Silverman from the water a short time later near the Wisconsin Avenue bridge.
Authorities are still trying to figure out how the man died.
Meanwhile, a search continues for a 24-year-old man who’s been missing from that area since about 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
Friends, relatives, and police continue the search for Nick Wilcox. He was last seen leaving the Irish Rec Room, a few blocks from the Milwaukee River.
