SHAWANO, WI (WSAU) - A Shawano man is dead after crashing his pickup into a semi Thursday afternoon. 69-year-old William Aderman was westbound when he ran a stop sign at County Highway B and Airport Drive just after 3:00 p.m. He struck a northbound semi driven by 51-year-old Jeffrey Krahn of Chilton.

Aderman was pronounced dead at the scene. Krahn was treated for minor injuries at Shawano Medical Center and released.

The intersection was closed for 2 1/2 hours until the wreckage could be cleared.
