URGENT: Video shows beheading of second American journalist

DUBAI (Reuters) - The Islamic State militant group released a video purporting to show the beheading of U.S. hostage Steven Sotloff, the SITE monitoring service reported on Tuesday. A masked figure in the video also issued a threat against a British hostage, a man the group named as David Haines, and warned governments to back off "this evil alliance of America against the Islamic State", the monitoring service said. The Billboard Beats: Macklemore's 'Thrift Shop' Steals No. 1 from Bruno Mars

By Lindsey DiMattina, Hollywood.com Staff

Bruno Mars has been holding onto his No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart for nearly a month now. But on Thursday, Mars was ""locked out"" of the lead position. Mars' single ""Locked Out of Heaven"" got bumped down by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' ridiculously catchy rap ""Thrift Shop,"" featuring Wanz.

""Thrift Shop"" has been on the chart for 16 weeks, and is quickly moving up in the rankings. Last week, it moved from No. 5 to No. 2.

The question now is whether ""Thrift Shop"" can hold onto No. 1 for longer than a week? Justin Timberlake's ""Suit & Tie,"" featuring Jay-Z, looks like it may soon pose a big threat. Last week, the song made it's debut on the chart at No. 84 — and this week, it has jumped 80 spots and landed at No. 4!

Check out the other songs that made it to the top 10 this week.
