WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) - One of the people involved in a Hatley home invasion found out how long he will be in prison Monday. Ademus Saechao, also known as “Kung Fu Panda”, was sentenced to 13 years in prison followed by 10 more years on extended supervision.
Saechao was the getaway driver at an armed invasion robbery east of Hatley in August of 2011. The victims were tied up with vacuum cords while the robbers took knives, guns,and a samurai sword.
Saechao was arrested three months after the crime in Green Bay. He will get credit for the 444 days already served in jail.
The other defendant in the home invasion case is 18-year-old Joseph Rohmeyer IV. Rohmeyer goes before a jury trial May 5th.
