STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) The Stevens Point Brewery announced its fourth expansion in the last five years.
The project unveiled Wednesday will expand Point Beer’s annual production capacity by 33-percent, to 150-thousand barrels. They will also be able to package four-packs and six-packs of 12-ounce cans at their site for the first time.
More beer production means more jobs coming. Operating partner Joe Martino said the Point Brewery expects to add new positions once the expansion is completed in May. He said the company’s growth in sales shows no sign of slowing down – so now is a good time for Point to invest.
