MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The CEO of General Electric will speak to the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents on Friday.
Jeffrey Immelt’s address is called “Leading the Productivity Revolution.”
Last year, GE announced a $3 million partnership with UW Milwaukee to explore advanced computational imaging.
Immelt has been with GE since 1982, and has been the firm’s president and CEO since 2000.
GE’s health care equipment division is one of Wisconsin’s largest employers. About 65-hundred people work for the firm in the Milwaukee area.
