TOMAHAWK, Wis. (WSAU) -- A 20-year-old Tomahawk man is in Jail after a hit and run incident near Tomahawk Sunday morning in the Town of Birch.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies say Adam Lee Teske showed up at a party uninvited and started to cause problems. When Teske attempted to leave, he struck another vehicle with his and fled the scene. Deputies used extra caution in apprehending Teske, as they received reports he may have a shotgun in the backseat of his vehicle.

Deputies saw Teske going into a driveway off of David Rd, and took him into custody there. Teske is being charged with hit and run, obstructing an officer and probation violation. He was taken to the hospital for testing for his alcohol content. If those tests are conclusive, Deputies may seek additional charges for violating the absolute sobriety law and going armed while intoxicated.
