MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) - It’s turned into one of central Wisconsin’s biggest summer events, and it return to Marshfield this weekend.
Dairyfest is back for its 32nd year, and Debbie Bauer from the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce says the big “Mayor’s Breakfast” on Friday morning draws more than 2,000 people each year. Bauer says the tasty treats include, “a scrambled egg omelet, with strawberries and ice cream, assorted cheeses and muffins, ice cold white and chocolate milk; all for five bucks and it really is all you can eat.” The theme for this year’s event is, “Dairyfest… It Moves You,” and more than 20,000 people are expected to attend events going on in Marshfield all weekend long.
On Saturday, the big Dairyfest Parade will wind its way down Central Avenue beginning at 11:00 AM, and feature 80 units including six marching bands
