One fatality from Friday Waupaca crash, names released

by

WAUPACA, WI  (WSAU)  -  One of the three people hurt in a Friday crash on highway 10 has died. Wisconsin State Patrol officials say 28-year-old Sara Dulmes of West Bend died at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah after being flown by helicopter directly from the crash site.

Dulmes was driving a Chevy Blazer westbound on Highway 10 at Highway A in Waupaca. She was rear-ended by a Jeep Liberty driven by 54-year-old Miguel Victor Cruz of Ripon. Cruz and Dulmes’ 8-year-old juvenile passenger were treated and released from Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.

State Patrol officials say Dulmes was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected when the vehicle rolled over. The others involved all wore their belts.

The crash remains under investigation.
