Astro's beat Brewers 10-1

Houston, TX (WSAU-TSN) - Matt Dominguez went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and five RBI, while Jordan Lyles worked seven strong innings as the Houston Astros pounded the Milwaukee Brewers, 10-1, in the opener of a three-game set.

Lyles (4-1) gave up one run on seven hits while striking out five. He has won each of his last three decisions and hasn't lost since May 12.

Carlos Pena hit a two-run homer and finished with three RBI, while Chris Carter and Marwin Gonzalez knocked in a run apiece for the Astros, who have won five of their last six games.

Scooter Gennett drove in the lone run for the Brewers, losers in four of their last six.

Alfredo Figaro (1-1) was tagged with the loss after giving up five runs -- four earned -- on five hits over 4 1/3 innings.

The Brewers and Astros play again Wednesday at 6:35pm CT on AM-550 FM-99.9 WSAU.
