The Detroit Tigers fell short of the Boston Red Sox Friday night, 10-6. Detroit, coming off a walk off win last night, struggled as a team on the mound. Doug Fister made the start, giving up 11 hits, six runs, over just three and a third innings. Darin Downs, Phil Coke, Al Alburquerque, and Evan Reed gave up four hits and three runs over five and two thirds innings. Miguel Cabrera hit his 20th home run of the season, and his 74th RBI for the season as well. The Tigers and Red Sox go at it again Saturday night at Comerica Park, coverage starts at 6:40 on WKZO.
