MADISON, WI (WSAU) Junior Mark Zengerle scored a goal and handed out two assists in Wisconsin’s 3-1 win over Minnesota-Duluth last night in the WCHA playoffs. Zengerle assisted on the Badgers’ first two scores by Nic Kerdiles and John Ramage.

Wisconsin took the lead for good at 15:31 of the second period. Joel Rumpel made 26 saves in the win and the Badgers outshot the Bulldogs 33-27.

Game two of the best-of-three series is tonight.  You can hear it on WSAU. Wisconsin’s record stands at 18-12-7.
