Brewers Power Past Angels

PHOENIX, AZ (WSAU) The Milwaukee Brewers hit three homers yesterday in a 6-to-1 exhibition victory over the Angels of Anaheim in Phoenix. Aramis Ramirez, Rickie Weeks, and Sean Halton all went yard. Ramirez also hit a two-run single.

Wily Peralta had a solid outing against the Angels’ regular season starters, giving up one run on six hits in six innings with a pair of strikeouts and no walks. Peralta is auditioning for the Number-three starting job behind Yovani Gallardo and Marco Estrada.

Milwaukee improved to 9-12-and-1 in Cactus League play. They’ll face San Francisco this afternoon. Left-hander Chris Narveson will start for the Crew.
