Powerball jackpot rises to $320M for Saturday night

by

MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Nobody won the Powerball jackpot Wednesday night, so it goes up to $320 million for the next drawing on Saturday.

Wisconsin players did not have much luck. Seven tickets won $200 each by having the Power Play, and matching either 4 regular numbers or three plus the Powerball.

Just over 26,000 Wisconsin players won smaller prizes. That’s about two-and-a-half times the number for a normal drawing, as the higher jackpot is attracting more interest.

It’s the highest since the record Powerball prize of $587.5 million dollars was split last November by players in Missouri and Arizona.

Wednesday night’s numbers were 13, 14, 17, 43, and 54. The Powerball was 15.

Saturday’s cash option is just over $198 million.

In Mega Millions’ the top prize for Friday night is $20 million.
