MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) - Governor Scott Walker says he wouldn't fight the idea of another audit of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
Walker says his office would "be open to that" if conducting an audit offers some value.
The governor's comment follows Wednesday's release of a report from the Legislative Audit Bureau.
It accused WEDC of breaking state laws repeatedly, failing to track the money it awards and giving money to recipients who aren't eligible.
WEDC has also been criticized for not having policies in place to deal with delinquent loans.
Walker responded to reporter questions following a prayer breakfast today in Milwaukee.
