MILWAUKEE, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) The Milwaukee Bucks are holding their first workouts today for possible candidates in next month’s N-B-A Draft. The first group was made up predominantly of shooting guards.
They include former Georgia Tech player Glen Rice Junior, who averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds in the N-B-A Developmental League playoffs after he struggled for most of the season. Rice, the son of former Michigan and N-B-A star Glen Rice Senior, said he’s been working on jumpers and spot-up shots – and he hopes to show scouts his versatility.
Syracuse guard James Southerland was also on the Bucks’ workout agenda today – along with Tony Snell of New Mexico, Will Clyburn of Iowa State, Junior Cadougan from Marquette, and Milwaukee native Tyrone Gordon of Dakota State in South Dakota.
